We offer a 2-hr CCW informational class designed for individuals interested in obtaining a California CCW permit who may still have questions before applying. This informational class provides a clear overview of the application process, eligibility requirements, firearm qualification standards, expectations, and what to expect during training. Ideal for applicants seeking guidance, clarity, and confidence before beginning the CCW process. . The fees will be applied to the CCW Initial course.

This course is intended for responsible firearm owners with prior shooting experience who are seeking to fulfill the training requirements for a California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit in Riverside County. Instruction focuses on safe concealed carry practices, legal considerations, and practical firearm proficiency for everyday carry. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER COURSE

If unable to attend the intensive 2-day course, we offer a flexible extended training program with weekday classes available in the morning, afternoon, and evening—making it easier to fit CCW instruction into your schedule. 

Effective April 22nd, 2025, Non-California Residents can now apply for a California Concealed Carry Weapon License.  Nonresident applicants will be required to attend the (16) hour CCW training course and qualification. 

Initial CCW is not a beginner course. It is recommended to complete a Handgun Orientation/ Safety Training and complete the Firearms Proficiency Assessment if you do not belong to a gun range and do not train often. Beginners should complete a Basic Firearms Handgun Course. 1-on-1 training is available.
